The Huawei Developer Conference 2025

The Huawei Developer Conference (HDC) 2025 took place from June 20-22, 2025, in Songshan Lake, Dongguan, China.

At HDC 2025, Huawei officially unveiled the developer beta version of HarmonyOS 6. This new iteration of their operating system focuses heavily on enhanced AI capabilities, including a new Intelligent Agent Framework (HMAF) and AI agents like XiaoYi designed for more natural human-device interaction.

While the developer beta for HarmonyOS 6 was released at HDC 2025, the public release for consumers is anticipated in Q4 2025, likely around October or November. It is expected to debut commercially with the Mate 80 series.
